Each IC 8th grader is required to complete at least 10 hours of community service and 4 hours of school service. As a class, students complete several class projects, including cards for residents of nursing homes on three occasions, and making rosary bead cases for the first graders. Most students well-exceed the required time (60+ hours) and continue their community service throughout the year.
